The Jean Coutu group is a Quebec company founded by Jean Coutu and Louis Michaud in 1969. It specializes in franchised pharmacies. Since 2004, the group has been the 4th largest pharmacy chain in Canada. Since 2017, Jean-Coutu has been a subsidiary of the Metro group.
