Circuit Index-Design 2019 - A Unique Design Journey In The Griffintown Design District

Thursday, September 26th (9am – 5pm) | Dedicated to Design Professionals

Design and Architecture professionals are invited to visit some of the best addresses of the Griffintown Design District. Our boutiques, local design offices, restaurants, as well as the headquarters at 1499 William, which encompasses over 20 brands and organisations, will propose interactive demonstrations, new collections, promotions and numerous other actvities. Free accredited conferences presented by Alain Carle (Alain Carle Architecte), Antoine Mathys (L’Abri), Stéphane Bernier (AEdifica) and Étienne Coutu Sarrazin (ADHOC Architectes) will add to the programme by addressing subjects such as the role of an Architect in the face of the climate crisis, the role of design in the identity of a neighbourhood and inclusive architecture. These conferences are sure to spark conversations and networking opportunites. Mr. Robert Beaudry, member of the City Executive Committee, responsible for economic and comercial development, housing and design, at the professional cocktail, Thursday, September 26th at 6pm.

September 27 & 28 | Opened to the public

During these two days, our boutiques, spaces and restaurants will offer design afficionados and curious shoppers, activities to help them discover Griffintown from a design perspective. Friday September (6pm -11pm) | Griffintown Design Party at New City Gas

All the participants are also invited to an evening of celebration: the Griffintown Design Party at New City Gas. Residents, local merchants and business people as well as designer and architects will take advantage of this festive evening to unwind and network.
