Griffintown Design District

In 2017, the SDC – Les Quartiers du Canal, with its exceptional concentration of shops and boutiques exclusively dedicated to design, created the Griffintown Design District gathering more than 50 addresses (shops, offices of Designers, architects, restaurants …) . This new destination was officially launched on October 17th, at the World Design Summit.

This territory stretches along several streets (Peel Street, Ann Street, Wellington Street, William Street or Notre-Dame Street West) and is home to a wide range of products from major international brands to small independent boutiques.

The companies that have established themselves here have made an informed and audacious choice to invest in this neighborhood, often presented as one of Montreal’s hidden treasures. Whether you are looking for a key element to revitalize your space or simply want to make discoveries, the neighborhood and its tradesmen meet you. Clean and innovative style, surprising, colorful … the list of possibilities is limited to the creativity of the shopper.
